Plot allocation is managed via a waiting list. To be added, contact the Clerk with your name, address, and contact details. The Council prioritises residents within the wards served by Laleston Community Council.
Plot rents are reviewed annually. Holders receive a tenancy agreement covering plot maintenance standards, permitted use, and renewal terms. Plots not maintained may be reallocated.
Allotments are for non-commercial growing — fruit, vegetables, flowers. Sheds and small structures need approval. Use of bonfires is restricted; chemical use should follow local guidelines.
The Committee oversees allotment management and broader biodiversity work — habitat protection, pollinator-friendly planting, the Council’s Section 6 biodiversity duty. Committee meeting documents are on the committee page.
