Working with South Wales Police in our area

Police and Communities Together (PACT) meetings are open public sessions where local residents raise community safety concerns directly with their PCSO. The Laleston area is split into two PACT areas.

Cefn Glas, Llangewydd and Brynhyfryd

This PACT area covers the western part of the Laleston Community Council ward. Contact details for the area’s PCSOs are confirmed at each PACT meeting.

Police and Communities Together (PACT) is a community-led approach used by South Wales Police. Each meeting agrees a small number of local priorities — typical concerns include speeding, antisocial behaviour, parking, and graffiti — and the police report progress at the next meeting.

PACT meetings are open to the public. Attendance details are confirmed in advance via the Council’s News & Notices page or directly with South Wales Police.

For non-emergencies (suspicious behaviour, parking issues, vandalism reports), call 101 or use south-wales.police.uk. For emergencies, always call 999.
