NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a meeting of the FINANCE COMMITTEE will be held at Bryntirion & Laleston Community Centre on Tuesday 26 September 2023 at 6.30pm.  The agenda for the meeting is set out below:

This is a public meeting and members of the public and press are welcome to attend to observe proceedings. 

1. To receive apologies for absence.

2.   Representation from members of the public.

3.    To receive Declarations of Interest (if any) of Members in respect of the business to be transacted.

4.    Approval of minutes from 25 July 2023.        

5.    Finance update

• To note bank reconciliation summary for July and August 2023;
• To approve a list of payments made during July and August 2023;
• To approve a list of receipts received during July and August 2023;
• To approve salary payments made in July and August 2023.

6.    To consider any grant/ funding applications received.

7.    To receive a proposal for reducing cleaning costs for Bryntirion & Laleston Community Centre.

8.    To receive a report detailing investigation of charges for Bryntirion & Laleston Community Centre in comparison with other local centre/halls.

9.    To confirm an agreed figure to be held in reserves which will be added to the Financial Regulations document for future reference.

10.  To receive any recommendations from other Committees or Council.

11.  To review the Committee’s Meeting dates and consider any matters relevant to the Committee for discussion at the next meeting.
