Covid 19

Covid 19

On behalf of Laleston Community Council

Laleston Community Council has been keeping up to date with the Corona Virus (Covid-19) and its impact on the UK and that of our local community.  As a result of this ever changing and escalating situation, all Community Council meetings, buildings, playgrounds and land will be closed until further notice.

During this challenging time, the health and wellbeing of the community and getting help to our more vulnerable residents is our priority.

This document will provide information to particular resources and support that is available.  Please contact these schemes directly if you need assistance.  Please do not hesitate – people are ready and waiting to help you.

If you can give assistance that will benefit the community please contact the relevant scheme and volunteer.  Don’t put your health and that of others at risk when being a good neighbour, but if you can, help those in need.

If we all work together we can reduce worry and isolation and get practical assistance when it is most needed.  Be safe.

Helplines

The coronavirus outbreak is affecting the way many of us live our lives, and it’s normal that this will affect people’s mental health.  Government guidance to stay at home means that we don’t currently have the social contact that some of us are used to. Whilst we are physically isolated, it’s all the more important to take care of your mental health.
