NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a meeting of the BIODIVERSITY & ALLOTMENT COMMITTEE will be held at Blandy Hall on Tuesday 20 February 2025 at 6.30pm. The agenda for the meeting is set out below:
This is a public meeting and members of the public and press are welcome to attend to observe proceedings.
- To receive apologies for absence.
- Representation from members of the public.
- Items of business that the Chair deems urgent.
- To receive Declarations of Interest (if any) of Members in respect of the business to be transacted.
- To receive Minutes of previous meetings held on 11 February 2025 and consider matters arising from the Minutes but not included in the agenda.
- To receive quotations, if any.
- To review the application process for new plots.
- To discuss controlled fires at the allotments.
- To discuss future site management.
- To receive an update on site maintenance inspections.
- To receive an update on plot allocations and waiting list.
- To discuss a complaint received from a plot holder regarding the behavior of a neighboring plot holder
- To consider pruning the trees on Greystone in Broadlands between Maes Y Fedwen, and Clos Castell Coity on the left-hand side of the road up to the Christmas tree.
- To receive any recommendations from other Committees or Council.
- To review the Committee’s Meeting dates and consider any matters relevant to the Committee for discussion at the next meeting.
