NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a meeting of LALESTON COMMUNITY COUNCIL will be held at Bryntirion & Laleston Community Centre, on Thursday 21 July 2022 at 7.00pm. The agenda for the meeting is set out below:
This is a public meeting and members of the public and press are welcome to attend to observe proceedings. An invitation and documents referenced on the agenda may be obtained from the Clerk prior to the meeting using the contact details below.
1. To gain approval from Council to record meetings to assist with accuracy of minutes.
2. Council to undertake a period of silent reflection.
3. Apologies for absence.
To receive apologies for absence from Members.
3. Representation from members of the public.
To consider suspension of meeting to receive representations from local residents (15 minutes maximum).
4. Items of business that the Chair deems urgent.
To list any item of urgent business being admitted to the agenda.
5. Declarations of Interest.
To receive declarations of personal and prejudicial interest from Members/Officers in accordance with the Members’ Code of Conduct.
6. Approval of Minutes.
To receive Minutes of previous meetings held on 16 June 2022 and consider matters arising from the Minutes but not included in the agenda.
7. Finance update:
· To note bank reconciliation summary as at the end of June 2022.
· To approve a list of payments made up to the end of June 2022.
· To approve a list of receipts received up to the end of June 2022.
· To approve a list of salary payments for June 2022.
· To seek approval to amend the Allotment budget allocation for a compost toilet to site security.
· To confirm that signatories have completed HSBC request received via email.
8. To gain approval for populating all Community Council noticeboards with the Broadlands Fun Day Magazine Poster.
9. To obtain approval to undertake a Community Asset Transfer of Trelales Play Park.
10. To discuss arrangements for the OAP Annual Christmas Luncheon.
11. To discuss and nominate for any vacancies for School Governor.
12. To obtain approval for Laleston Gardening Club to utilise the grounds of Blandy Hall for their annual show on 10 September 2022.
13. To discuss and agree on a course of action for the speed bumps at Banc Yr Allt.
14. To receive an update from the Clerk.
15. To receive an update from the Community Development Officer.
16. To receive quotations, if any.
17. To receive Personal Issues, if any.
18. To receive correspondence, if any.
19. A notice has been received from Cllr I Spiller for a motion that this council resolves that the clerk is to engage legal enforcement proceedings for the recovery of monies owed by former chairman, to Laleston community council.
20. To consider Planning Applications.
