NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a meeting of LALESTON COMMUNITY COUNCIL will be held at Bryntirion & Laleston Community Centre, on Thursday 20 July 2023 at 7.00pm. The agenda for the meeting is set out below:

This is a public meeting and members of the public and press are welcome to attend to observe proceedings. An invitation and documents referenced on the agenda may be obtained from the Clerk prior to the meeting using the contact details below.

1. Council to undertake a period of silent reflection.

2. Apologies for absence.

To receive apologies for absence from Members.

3. Representation from members of the public.

To consider suspension of meeting to receive representations from local residents (15 minutes maximum).

4. Items of business that the Chair deems urgent.

To list any item of urgent business being admitted to the agenda.

5. Declarations of Interest.

To receive declarations of personal and prejudicial interest from Members/Officers in accordance with the Members’ Code of Conduct.

6. Approval of Minutes.

To receive Minutes of previous meetings held on 15 June 2023 and consider matters arising from the Minutes but not included in the agenda.

7. To receive quotations, if any.

8. To consider the Electoral Arrangement review of all Town and Community councils within Bridgend and collate any proposals or changes.

9. To discuss the boules court at Blandy Hall.

10. To review and consider findings of a feasibility report on Parish Online.

11. To agree to make the Biodiversity & Allotments working group into a formal committee.

12. To agree to purchase promotional roll-ups for use at Broadlands Fun Day and Firework event.

13. To discuss preparations for annual Firework event.

14. To recognise Pen-y-bont FC’s Europe entry.

15. To agree to advertise and promote the Laleston.com website.

16. To discuss playparks in Cefn Glas.

17. To receive any recommendations and/or information for noting from HR Committee – report to follow.

18. To receive any recommendations and/or information for noting from Finance Committee – verbal update.

19. Additional bin and benches.

20. To receive correspondence, if any.

21. To consider Planning Applications.
